Mr Ratchathep Narula, Marketing Director of FrieslandCampina (Thailand) Public Company Limited, said, “Foremost believes in the kindness of Thai people. We have therefore passed on this concept of kindness to the general public, including pushing for a society of sharing continuously for more than 65 years. This year the COVID-19 pandemic has made a big impact on Thai society. As a result, many people have been suffered from lack of income because they are unable to work regularly. Families with young children are more severely impacted. According to a survey conducted by the Thailand Development Research Institute and the National Statistical Office, families with young children are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic more than families without young children in almost every aspect. One of the major impacts on children is malnutrition, especially the shortage of milk, which is an important food source rich in protein and calcium and essential for the growth of children of all ages. Foremost, resultingly, launched the project “Foremost Passes on Smiles to Thai children to Fight Against COVID-19” in collaboration with the Mirror Foundation to deliver good nutrition from quality cow’s milk to children and families affected by the pandemic across the country. We not only hope that Thai children will be given sufficient diet from this project but also aim to provide them good nutrition to strengthen their bodies regardless of age and situation. This is in line with the organisation's goal in supporting people around the world for accesses to better nutrition.”

Mr Ekaluck Lumchomkhae, President of the Mirror Foundation, said, “During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mirror Foundation, as a non-profit organization, has worked in helping people get access to essential needs, presenting issues and realities in the society and acting as an intermediary in bringing various assistance to those in need. We continue to receive requests for food support, so the Foundation is delighted to be a part of the project 'Foremost Passes Smiles to Thai Children” as a distributor of 1,000,000 cartons of Foremost dairy products to the hands of children and vulnerable families across the country. We have a team of volunteers capable of reaching areas and communities of people who need help. Therefore, you can be confident that every carton of milk will reach the hands of all children and families affected by the pandemic.” This project is a continuation of the project “Foremost Spreads Smiles to Thai Children Fighting Against COVID-19”, which was initiated during the same period last year, to pass on smiles to the future generation and provide opportunities for growth and development even during difficult times

At the same time, Foremost invites all consumers to participate in sharing and creating smiles for Thai children just by buying 1 crate of Foremost UHT milk products, package size 170 ml., 180 ml. or 225 ml., of any flavor, between 25 July – 31 August 2022 via Foremost Online (Foremost Delivery) and the channels of participating distributors, including Foremost official stores in Shopee and Lazada, JD website, 7-Eleven, Tesco Lotus, Big C, Tops, Makro, CJ More and other participating general stores.
