FACTS ABOUT UHT DAIRY PRODUCTS

First, what is UHT milk?
UHT stands for ultra-high-temperature, so UHT milk is milk that was processed with temperature of over 133 degrees Celsius to kill off any bacteria and microorganism and became homogenised before being packaged into a sterilised container. This way UHT milk can maintain its colour and flavour without losing any significant amount of valuable nutrients and can be stored in room temperature for 6-8 months.
