To mark the end of its 150th anniversary year, FrieslandCampina presents its new short film, A New Day. The film pays tribute to the many generations of dairy farmers who have made FrieslandCampina what it is today: a dynamic, forward-looking dairy cooperative and global company. A New Day tells the story of the next generation of farmers, focused on the future of dairy farming with lots of passion and determination, while adapting to the rapidly changing world.

The story of FrieslandCampina is a special and unique one as it is one of the world’s largest dairy cooperatives with more than ten thousand members across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Dairy farmers are the foundation of FreislandCampina’s business because of their willingness to deliver the best quality dairy products to customers with the concept of “From Grass to Glass”.

A New Day was produced to celebrate and thank all member farmers who play vital roles in delivering better nutrition to families across the globe including Thailand. FrieslandCampina is partnering with Thai dairy farmers who supply milk to its facilities across the country, and it also has a dairy development department which educates dairy farmers on dairy farming techniques from the Netherlands in order to elevate their milk quality to the global standard.

FrieslandCampina across the world has just finished celebrating its 150th anniversary last September and has now entered its 151st year with its dairy farmer members as the key business drivers.

About the Short Film A New Day

The four-minute film tells the story of three young dairy farmers who are on a journey – sometimes literally – as they face dilemmas, make choices and emerge stronger, ready for a new day. The film shows the challenges they are facing in this rapidly changing world. A New Day is the sequel to The Story of Milk, produced in 2012, also by corporate cinema agency 1Camera.
